What is British Chesterfield Sofas’ delivery policy?
British Chesterfield Sofas has certain policies for the delivery of the different furniture, pending with postcodes. We offer free delivery to Mainland UK, which applies to the part of mainland that is consider mainland in courier terms.
There are different islands such as the Isle of Wight, Isle of Man etc. where we are unable to deliver, customers are advised to arrange for collection or a delivery address of a cargo company for Mainland UK where we can deliver.
When can I expect my order?
Everything depends on the product and the location so that the customer can get their order as soon as possible. Normally the time taken to deliver the product is indicated in the description of the product. In every case, the customers will be informed of each detail, including if any of delays are expected. If the customer bought more than one product, all these will be dispatched and delivered at the same time unless they are ordered on different occasions.
How do you calculate your delivery times?
They depend on the item that is being order. If the item is stock we will deliver it as soon as possible. If the product is to be made or to be imported on your order it will take the time. If there are any delays we advise the customers accordingly. However, shipping from other countires is always varying so inital time period is an estimate, until we confirm a delivery date for you.
What if I'm unable to take delivery of my order when its ready?
We offer the delivery date as soon as we can. There is always an ample amount of time when we advise the delivery date. If for some reason you are unable to take delivery, we will move up the first date with out any storage chages, if you inform us at least 10 days before your delivery date, there will be no storages charges incurred, provided that is the first instance of cancellation, otherwise the storage charges would be £15.00 week
What if my delivery contains damaged goods?
There are not many intances of damage during delivery, However, there is a possibility, the customer should contact us as soon as possible with pictures of damage by sending an email to us on firstname.lastname@example.org and we will take action accordingly.
We are unable to cater customer specfic day and time frame delivery request. When the buyer agrees to a delivery date with the Chesterfield team, he has to make sure he can receive the order on that day. If there are problems that prevent you from receiving the item, you may contact us immediately at least 10 days beforehand, so we can make necessary arrangements.
Under unlikely instances where cancellation of delivery occurs from our end, we will try to keep the distruption at minimum, but where we are unable to cater then we will arrange the next date for as soon as possible.
